What is White Space, Inc.?

White Space is a full-service design and advertising agency. 

Early on at my first job in San Francisco, my billionaire boss stood
over me in a Herman Miller cubicle, smoking his Cuban cigar, and proclaimed out of the corner of his mouth, "I'm paying for that ad. Fill up that empty space." That aspiration was the moment White Space was born, in 1991. 

I was young and naive—a "runaway" chasing a dream.  I had left
a dream job (for some) doing production on centerfolds under a master art director at Playboy magazine in Chicago. I landed the Playboy job after an internship through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where I graduated in 1987.

Here, in California, I was in search of signs of intelligent design in the universe.

I borrowed $10,000 dollars from a friend, quit the "empty space" job, bought a Mac Computer Classic II, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Today, White Space is a full-service design and advertising agency surrounding your ideas with fresh space to breathe, shine and be seen and heard over the clutter and noise in today's marketplace.
